Steven Spielberg set up a once-in-a-lifetime scene for his latest spectacular, Indiana Jones has a Close Encounter with Jaws 10. The scene required such spectacular and expensive effects theat it could only be done once,so Spielberg made sure he had all the angles covered by cameras. When everyone was ready, a hush fell over the entire set in anticipation of his head, paused for dramatic effect and then yelled, "ACTION!"
The scene was executed smoothly, evoking "oohs" and "aahs" even from the most seasoned and experienced crew on the set. When it was finally over, some people were even moved to tears at the sheer wonder of the spactacle.
Spielberg let out a sigh of satisfaction and slumped in his seat in relief when one of his aides came running up to him and shouted, "Boss, two of the five camera crew called to say they've screwed up. Their film is useless!"
"WHAT?" yelled Spielberg, who was used to talking in capital letters. " GIVE THAT PHONE!" He barked into the phone, "CAMERA ONE! WHAT WENT WRONG?"
"I'm sorry, Mr Spielberg, we forget to load the camera. I'm really sorr-"
"CAMERA TWO! WHAT WENT WRONG?"
"I don't know what to say, Mr Spielberg! We had the wrong exposures on the camera. I noticed it only after the film was shot."
Spielberg silently thanked his lucky stars he still had three other cameras covering the scene, but just then the aide in again shouting, "Boss, camera crews three and four failed to film it too!"
"OH NO!" cried Spielberg. "What about camera crew five?"
"We're trying to get through to them now. Oh, we have them on the line now, Boss."
"GIVE that phone to me!" said Spielberg, snatching the receiver. "Crew Five, is everything alright there?"
